The Honor 7C comes with a familiar metallic exterior and features a 5.99-inch 720p (1440x720px) display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Underneath, the phone runs on a Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor, 3 or 4GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of internal memory which is expandable, and a 3000mAh battery. There are two camera sensors on the rear — one regular 13-megapixel lens and another 2-megapixel one for helping the phone produce relatively more natural depth-of-field effects. On the front, you’ll find an 8-megapixel snapper and in spite of the lack of a secondary lens here, it does support Portrait Mode. Honor has preloaded EMUI 8.0, which is based on Android Oreo, on the 7C. In addition to the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, you can unlock the phone with your face as well. Moreover, it’s compatible with two SIM cards and MicroSD cards of up to 256GB capacity. Unlike its bigger sibling, the Honor 7X, the 7C has a dedicated slot for the latter which is always a welcome feature especially for the buyers it’s targetting.
The Honor 7C will be available from this month’s 13th in China for a price of CNY 899 for the 3GB+32GB variant and CNY 1,299 for 4GB+64GB. There are four color options to choose from — Black, Red, Gold, and Blue.
