LG W10 Alpha: Design and Display
In terms of design, as already mentioned, the LG W10 Alpha features a 2D Arc Design and comes in only one color option: Black. Towards the front, it has a 5.71-inch FullVision display that includes a RainDrop notch at the top, which is LG’s equivalent of a teardrop notch, housing the front-facing camera. The display offers a 19:9 aspect ratio and comes with an HD+ resolution.
LG W10 Alpha: Performance
Under the hood, the W10 Alpha is powered by a 1.6 GHz Octa-Core UNISOC SC9863 processor with IMG8322 GPU, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB with microSD card). It includes a 3450mAh battery and runs on Android 9.0 Pie, out of the box. For connectivity, the device comes with support for dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.1. Besides, it uses AI Facial Unlock for authentication, which, according to the company, relies on 128 identification points and takes only 0.3 seconds to unlock the smartphone.
LG W10 Alpha: Camera
For optics, the W10 Alpha sports a single 8MP camera with an LED flash on the rear. The rear camera offers 1080p video recording and includes a bunch of enhancement features such as filters, scenes, Bokeh Mode, Beauty Mode, etc. It also has an 8MP on the front for selfies and Facial Unlock, which also comes with an AI Beautify mode for enhancements.
