Motorola One Zoom Design

The all-new Motorola One Zoom features a water-repellent design to protect it against casual spills and splashes. It has a 3D satin glass on the back, that according to the company, ‘eliminates fingerprints and smudges’. The phone comes in three gradient colour options: Electric Gray, Cosmic Purple, and Brushed Bronze. And for the first time, has an illuminating Motorola on the back, that doubles as an LED notification light, and lights up to notify for incoming calls, texts, etc.

Display on Motorola One Zoom

On its front, the phone sports a 6.4-inch Max Vision OLED display with a Full HD (2340 x 1080p) screen resolution. The screen has a teardrop notch at the center and stretches to the edges to offer a make consuming media an enjoyable experience. It also houses an integrated in-display fingerprint scanner, which comes equipped with a machine learning algorithm and support for continuous learning that makes it faster and better every time you use it.

Performance

From the performance standpoint, the One Zoom comes with a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 675 processor with Adreno 612 GPU, running under the hood, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable memory up to 1TB with microSD card). It packs in a 4000mAh battery that comes with Motorola’s 15W TurboPower fast charging that helps it fuel up in a few minutes of charge. The 675 mobile platform used on the phone is the same found on Moto Z4, announced a couple of months back. On the software front, the phone runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box.

Motorola One Zoom Camera setup

Coming to one of the highlighting features of the Motorola One Zoom, the camera. The One Zoom sports a quad-camera setup on the rear, which includes a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and OIS, accompanied by a 16MP 117-degree ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, an 8MP telephoto with f/2.4 aperture and OIS, and a 5MP depth-sensing sensor with f/2.2 aperture, along with LED flash. Coming to the front, it has a 25MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and face unlock.

Miscellaneous

In terms of other hardware specifications on the phone, the One Zoom offers a 3.5mm audio jack to allow you to connect with your favorite set off wired headphones, a USB Type-C port for faster charging and high data transfer speeds, bottom-mounted speaker, and triple microphones. For connectivity, it comes with a dual hybrid SIM (nano + nano / microSD), and dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), NFC, and Bluetooth 5.0.

Motorola One Zoom Pricing and Availability

The Motorola One Zoom is priced at $449 (~Rs 32,205) and €429 (~Rs 33,977) in the UK. It is already available for sale in the US and UK. As of now, there is no update on its availability in India.
