The Mi Smart Water Purifier has a minimal and clean design and is built with FDA approved materials. It has a 7-liter tank and allows for an easy and fast change of filters. The purifier is built on four pillars: Minimalist Design, Advanced Purification Process, Real-Time Monitoring, and Hassle-Free DIY Technology. The purification process involves five stages. The first and second stage (combined) involve the PolyPropylene+Activated Carbon (PPC) filter intercepting the large and visible particles along with the residual chlorine, color, and odor. Up next, in the third stage, the RO filter filters out heavy metals and organic matter with a filtration precision of 0.0001 microns. In the fourth stage, the Post Activated Carbon (PAC) filter absorbs the remaining odor and organic substances to improve the taste. And finally, in the fifth (last) stage, the UV light in the tank kills all the bacteria and viruses with a 99.99 percent efficiency. The Mi Smart Water Purifier also features in-built Wi-Fi and smart app connectivity, which allows it to be paired with the Mi Home app to view information like the level of water in the tank, the TDS level of water, and the life of each filter in the tank, in real-time. With a DIY-friendly design approach, Xiaomi has taken a step towards solving the problem of after-sales service and made it easier for anyone to order replacement filters directly from the app and change them on their own.
